Quartz Micro E-nail Kit:

For large dab setups, the most common banger sizes are 25mm and 30mm. These require relatively large dabs—anything much smaller than roughly 0.1g will result in a sub-par experience.

These axial e-nails, paired with thick-walled quartz bangers, are mains‑powered beasts designed for home use only. They offer accurate, stable temperature control, delivering excellent vapor quality. Quartz is a preferred material for vaporizing because it’s inert, providing clean, true‑to‑taste flavor—further enhanced by precise temperature regulation. We consider this setup one of the best for large dabs and group sessions.

The e‑nail kit includes:

• A quartz banger (14mm male joint) with a quartz insert

Note on inserts:
If using the quartz insert, it will settle to roughly 20°F below the controller’s set temperature after a 10‑minute preheat—account for this in your settings.
SiC inserts stabilize around 10–15°F below the set temp, heat up much faster, and retain heat better during use.

Temperature range of the PID: 220–990°F

Recommended vaping ranges:

• Without insert: 320–536°F (160–280°C)

• With insert: 420–580°F

Above these ranges, you’re entering combustion territory—which is fine if that’s your goal.

Heat‑up & auto shut‑off:
The setup takes about 5 minutes to stabilize (no less when using the quartz insert). The controller has an auto shut‑off timer set to 2 hours by default. You can increase it to 5 hours, decrease it to 1 hour, or turn it off entirely—so your banger stays at the desired temperature continuously (instructions provided below).

Because the temperature remains constant, this setup is ideal for session use: load your concentrate, hit it repeatedly until fully vaporized, then wipe clean and repeat as desired.
