Let me start off by saying, this things works amazing, if you’ve never used a gravity bong before, as was the case with me, this will get you high off of just one bowl. I’m not inexperienced either, I’ve been using for 6+ years, usually go through about 1.5oz of flower a week plus 15-20g concentrate. I’m use to the overly large, intricately designed percolator bongs, and this absolutely BLOWS it out of the water.
Do NOT make the same mistake I did. I always deep clean every new piece that I buy, and was doing the same with this one. Upon arrival it comes partially disassembled, if you want to clean it, do not disassemble it further, if you take off the aluminum center piece that the glass screws into, you risk damaging the O-rings and can cause minor leaks. (The product does come with replacement o-rings, but if you run out, the size is 3/4″ O.D. x 9/16″ I.D. x 3/32″, and the lube I’d recommend is Super Lube food safe O-Ring silicone grease.) If you do accidentally damage the piece as I did, your point of contact will be a kind woman by the name of Kathy, which brings me to my next point.
If you have any issues, questions, concerns, or more, reach out to Kathy. She has been with me every step of the way from the beginning of my order, answered all questions, and even acquired additional information and a replacement part from the supplier for me. Even as much as I’ve pestered her, she has remained kind throughout the entire process. So fret not, if you do have an issue with the product(which you likely won’t if you don’t do what I did) Kathy will get to the bottom of it for you, and find a solution at no additional cost. If you’re reading this, thank you so much again for all of your help!
After a bit of usage, the only thing I’d recommend is that you get an ash catcher, make sure it’s a dry ash catcher as a wet one will significantly decrease overall airflow(bring the base with you so you can ensure the ash catcher clears the intake cylinder) and a glass bowl with a built in glass screen and resin catch in it. These two additions will help keep the internals cleaner, for longer.
